I'm baaaaack!

Hey Guys! I know it's been like a year, but lots of things have changed. First of all, for some reason my photobucket accout has been gutted! All my pictures are gone! I am so sad! After picking myself up off the floor and going through a box of tissue, I am moving forward! I know it has been a long time, but that lovely Kevin Kriston I introduced about a year ago, is now my lovely boyfriend! I know I know, "OMG Gina found love, no WAY!!" Yes kids, I sho' nuff' did! Well, there's more.... I also live with him!! I know I know, "OMG you LEFT the Country Cottage?!!" Yup, love does strange things to ya',....that and the fact that he pays my bills. I have to admit, while I was packing up my Cottage, I again had to pick myself off the floor and get through a bulk rate special of tissues everytime I tried to pack a box! I told Panda (AKA Kevin) I had no problem moving in with him, I had a problem breaking up with my house!

I know I know, "WTF Gina, how is any of this good news, why are you getting my hopes up for more pictures and goofy montages?" I'm getting to it, hold on to your skivies! Devistated at the thought of losing the Cottage, Dad and I agreed to rent it instead of selling it! YAY! We found this great family who loved the house and couldn't wait to move in! After talks with Dad, I still want to make improvements and see my plans come to fruition! Dad agreed!! So inbetween renters I will be able to continue to paint, pave, spackle, and intall to my hearts desire!! Property never depreciates!!

So here's what's instore for the future!! Get this! The first improvement is a BIG one! We are going to add a powder room next to the laundry! I have always wanted to do that, but of course it is well out of my budget, but I will tell you, adding that will REALLY increase the property value as well as make the home easier to rent! The home is set up perfectly for this addition, the house is on slab, but all the plumbing is in that area, PERFECT!! Other projects I have in store are adding lighting (hallogens of course), finishing painting, changing out ceiling fans, new countertops (have you heard of granite transformations?) and adding a paved firepit communal area! Imagine the marshmallow carnage!!

Having this opporunity to continue with the home I truely love makes my soul happy, and I am so greatful Dad has continued to see ojo to ojo with me on this!! Best part of all? That Kevin Kriston STILL is an accomplished woodworker, and he likes me a lot!! Yes, there will be lots of crownmolding upgrades!! Ahhhhhhh the power of smooches!

So keep posted, these upgrades will not start for a while, they will probably only be done inbetween renters, BUT they will be done in bulk! OH the satisfaction!! Woo-hoo!!

I have loaded pictures of the house empty of course to get us all up to speed on where we are starting from this time!! Yea, these are saved on my personal computer......
